What Shall I Make for Dinner? September Menus
What Shall I Make for Dinner? September Menus
This afternoon, I’d been out running errands and was tired. Yes, I already had a menu plan, but I didn’t have just what I needed and was too tired to think about it. So I texted my Momma and asked,
“What shall I make for dinner?”
Of course, what I meant was: quick and easy. Ingredients readily available. No fuss. And tasty. Obviously. She texted back “taco salad”, which fit the bill nicely. So that’s what we ate. Yummy.
What shall I make for dinner? I know you’re all asking that question of yourself (or others) frequently. So, I’m sharing my September menus.
September is a Tricky Month
Flexibility is key here. In Oklahoma, we know to expect several more weeks of heat. However, sometimes a glorious fall day suddenly appears, and one needs to be prepared for this. Beginning in September, I’m always blustery-weather stocked. Hot chocolate envelopes and plenty of hot tea choices are non-negotiable. Chilly days require pots of simmering chili or soup, so have ingredients ready. Don’t let the first cool day catch you unprepared!
