Awaking Wonder Book Review: I’ve been waiting for this book!

Awaking Wonder is full of encouragement for gentle, kind, and loving mentorship of your children. I highly recommend it for all Christian parents, grandparents, teachers, and caregivers.

While it seems specifically directed toward homeschooling, there are applications for all parents. You are your children’s primary teacher, no matter where or how they attain their “formal schooling”.

Awaking Wonder is especially balm for the soul of the new homeschooling parent–right now I’m thinking of the reluctant homeschooler. I know so many parents who are incredulous to find themselves homeschooling this year. What a crazy year this has been, right?

Awaking Wonder in any person happens best in a safe environment, one where there is an expectation of friendship, where love is the oxygen breathed between parent and child, teacher and student. Love inspires one to reach their full potential.–Sally Clarkson

This is a beautiful, heartwarming, encouraging, and inspirational book. No formulas or specific curricula recommendations or ironclad rules. Instead, you will walk away feeling as though a very wise woman hugged you and said, “You can do this, Momma.”
