Cultivate Spiritual Growth
“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 3:18
Welcome to My March Focus:
Cultivate Spiritual Growth
After selecting Cultivate as my Word of the Year, I determined to select a different focus area each month to cultivate. In January, I began with Cultivate Financial Security. In February, I chose to Cultivate Marriage. Even when I don’t meet all my monthly goals, I have found it helpful to purposefully focus on each area. Progress, not Perfection.
It seems fitting in the days leading up to Easter to focus on my faith. After much thought, I haven’t chosen anything to give up for Lent. Instead, I’ve determined to add.
More time spent in Bible study and reading.
More time spent in prayer.
More time spent meditating on and memorizing Scripture.
The life, death, burial, and resurrection of Christ are the linchpin of the Christian faith, and it seems worthwhile to spend the days preceding Resurrection Sunday focusing on His work and sacrifice.
Faith and Spiritual Growth will be the blog theme for March.
I’m excited about what this month holds, and I hope you will be, too. Here are some things to look forward to in the coming weeks:

I only promote items I personally believe to be beneficial.
Always excited to read your blog!
Progress not perfection is a good thing to remember! If I can’t do something “perfect” then I just ignore it and don’t do it but “progress not perfection” is a really good thing to remember! 🙂💗
I think I first read this in a post or book by Lara Casey, and I remind myself of it all the time! I think you and I are very alike in this!
