Hearts of Praise Gratitude Challenge
I don’t know about you, but I am in need of continual encouragement these days. You too? It’s so easy to focus on the chaos and clamor surrounding me, and I’ve found that choosing to practice gratitude and praise realigns my focus. That’s why I’m inviting you to join me in the Hearts of Praise Gratitude Challenge.

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Philippians 4:8 ESV
As someone who has deeply-ingrained tendencies toward both manipulation/control and worry, I have found that I must continually redirect my wayward thoughts toward what is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, excellent, and praiseworthy. For several years I have maintained the practice of a daily gratitude journal. I began this practice after reading the lovely book One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp, which I highly recommend to you.
