What’s for Dinner? August Menus
Welcome to August, friends!
Here we are, with summer beginning to wind down and back-to-school talk in the air. All my teacher friends are preparing to begin a new year, and my moms-of-littles friends are purchasing school supplies, backpacks and new lunch boxes.
No matter how full your day, you know someone is going to ask, “What’s for dinner, Mom?” Just in case you don’t have a clue, I’m here to help with a few ideas.

Your menus sound yummy and very healthy! What have you found helps with wanting more good than you should consume at a meal or in between? Tips on this subject would be good to know 🙂
Thanks, Debbie! Wow, that’s a good question, and one I’m currently failing. Ugh. My best tip is to keep the hands busy (I snack less when I’m on a crochet bender!)…and drinking lots of water or hot tea when “hungry”. Honestly, though, I’m in a bad place where I desperately need to REIGN IN the eating right now…
Feeding my crew and going back to school, I welcome the ideas.
Oooo, going back to school! How exciting.
